Women in architecture

Author: Sky-Frame/ArchDaily

Sky-Frame is characterized by its empathic ability to adopt different perspectives and points of view. We are interested in people and their visions, whether in architecture or in a social context. We care deeply about creating living spaces, and in doing so we also question the role of women in architecture. We want to shed more light on this role, increase the visibility of Women in Architecture and encourage them to realize their full potential.

We followed three outstanding female architects – Toshiko Mori (New York City), Gabriela Carrillo (Mexico City) og Johanna Meyer-Grohbrügge (Berlin) – in their daily lives and were able to gain insight into their professional and private lives. In the documentary, the main characters tell us about the challenges they face and share their views on the architecture of our time. Our goal is to create a forum to raise more empathy for this cause in collaboration with our communications partner, ArchDaily.

We invite you to watch the documentary and comment on Instagram with your thoughts on the role of women in architecture.
